Michael Scott Architect
In (casual) conversation with Dorothy Walker

Dorothy Walker

Gandon Editions
ISBN: O 9466 4151 X

A series of 'interviews' with the deceased architect Michael Scott who was one of the most important figures in Irish architecture in the 20th century. Walker had worked with Scott as office secretary in the 1940s and 50s and later married his partner Robin Walker. The book is interesting without any major revelations into Scott's work. He does however sometimes come across as contrary and overly self important.
